To replicate a cold environment even in above ambient temperatures, Deepchill® artificial snow not only mimics real snow well but is easy to create and maintain and all at the touch of a button and a nozzle spray.
The production of artificial snow consists of both water and air similar to natural snow, but the difference is through the production method.
Natural snow is produced by water accumulating in a cloud and then evaporating. As it falls to earth, it crystallizes to form snow. On the other hand, Deepchill® snow uses the Deepchill® system to transform water into the physical state of snow.
Deepchill® snow crystals are formed using a unique distributed crystallization process. It begins with refrigerating the condensed water vapour inside a closed generator and storage silo, which allows the production of snow even at +20°C with a large capacity requirement similar to district cooling.
As the Deepchill® system is completely automated, all you need to do next is to distribute the snow through a hose or have it blown to where you need the snow to be.
Most artificial snow makers do work at temperatures higher than -2°C, especially if air humidity is high.
Deepchill® is making it possible to create snow even at above ambient temperatures like +10 or 20°C, creating brand new ski areas that could’ve never existed before.
Not only can Deepchill® produce snow in positive temperatures, but we can do so with a high-capacity requirement. If you need a certain amount of crystals per day, we’ll customize your system with those requirements.
Another point to note is that Deepchill® artificial snow is distinguishable from other types of artificial snows due to its structure and uniform color.
While other artificial snows have a crystal structure that is harder with smaller flakes than natural snow, Deepchill® creates perfectly round crystals to make an even better surface for skiing than natural snow does.
